McDaniel College Sophomore Receives Army ROTC Scholarship
The scholarship, which is awarded based on scholastic, athletic and leadership attributes, covers full tuition, room and board, and fees, plus additional funds for books, as well as a monthly living stipend. The student will be commissioned as a Second Lieutenant and will incur a service commitment to be served on active duty, in the Army Reserve, or National Guard upon graduating from McDaniel.

McDaniel's delegation of 11 students represented Ireland and were accompanied by Christianna N. Leahy, chair of the political science and international studies department at McDaniel. The McDaniel College Choir presented its winter concert, "Music Matters," on Sunday, November 20, 7 p.m., in Baker Memorial Chapel at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. The choir is under the direction of Kyle Engler, with Peggy Brengle serving as accompanist. The program featured music from diverse locales and historical eras. The concert also showcased the A Cappella Ensemble, an elite group of unaccompanied singers chosen from the choir's roster.
