McDaniel College awarded 368 bachelor's degrees during the college's 153rd Commencement on May 20. The Argonaut Award for the highest cumulative GPA during their entire completed courses of study was given to six undergraduates: Kate Rebecca Cramer, Evan J. Darr, Kyra M. Greenfield, Lyra Juliet Houghton, Grace Elizabeth Maglietta, and Eleanor Vivienne Tomkins.

McDaniel College Graduate Awarded The Edith Farr Ridington Writing Award
Stephanie A. Eckard graduated summa cum laude from McDaniel College on May 20 with departmental honors in History. She was also the recipient of The Edith Farr Ridington Writing Award for her paper titled "The Deathless Devotion of Southern Women: How the United Daughters of the Confederacy Weaponized Monuments in the Battle for Southern Memory."

Stephani Xiomara Portillo Ordonez graduated magna cum laude from McDaniel College on May 20 with departmental honors in student-designed French Studies. She also majored in political science with a specialization in international studies and completed a minor in European Studies.
