McDaniel College students perform in the College Band Concert on Friday, May 8, at 7 p.m. in WMC Alumni Hall's Mainstage Theatre at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Maryland. Under the direction of Senior Lecturer in Music Linda Kirkpatrick, the College Band comprises McDaniel students, as well as McDaniel faculty members, alumni, and community musicians, including students from Carroll Community College and Carroll County Public Schools.

Directed by Adjunct Lecturer Brian Frazier, the concert features diverse styles of jazz, including classic big band swing, bebop, Latin, funk, rock, and blues.

McDaniel College students perform in the A Cappella Ensemble on Monday, May 4, at 7 p.m. in Baker Chapel at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Maryland. The group, called the Green TerrorTones, is the premier vocal ensemble at McDaniel College.

The class is taught by Kyle Engler, senior lecturer of Music, and the students perform selections from operas and Broadway musicals.

The Gospel Choir performs traditional and contemporary gospel music, under the direction of Senior Adjunct Lecturer Shelley Ensor.

Works by senior Art majors at McDaniel College are highlighted in two capstone exhibitions. "Senior Capstone Exhibition One" runs Tuesday, April 14-Friday, April 24, with an opening reception on Thursday, April 16, while "Senior Capstone Exhibition Two" runs Tuesday, April 28-Thursday, May 14, with a reception on Thursday, April 30.

On March 29, 23 students were inducted into McDaniel College's Delta of Maryland Chapter of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. Founded in 1776, the Phi Beta Kappa Society is the nation's oldest academic honor society.

McDaniel College students perform in the Student Solo Recital on Friday, April 24, at 7 p.m. in Levine Hall at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Maryland. The recital features vocal and instrumental soloists performing a variety of music spanning from classical to contemporary. Students involved study under the direction of Music faculty members Rachel Andrews, staff accompanist; Nicholas Currie, senior adjunct lecturer of music; David Duree, senior adjunct lecturer of music; Kyle Engler, senior lecturer of music; and Waka Osifchin, senior adjunct lecturer of music.
