McDaniel College students were recognized at the April 23 Impact Awards. The event highlighted McDaniel students, faculty, and staff for their exemplary efforts and impact on McDaniel's campus outside of the classroom. It was hosted by the Office of Student Engagement as part of the college's Excellence in Leadership Program.

McDaniel College's daylong Academic Symposium on Monday, May 5, showcased the original research, scholarship, and creative achievements of McDaniel students, faculty, and staff.

Students were inducted into the Lambda Pi Eta international honor society in communication at McDaniel College.

Works by Art majors at McDaniel College were highlighted in the first of two capstone exhibitions from April 15-25 in McDaniel's Esther Prangley Rice Gallery in Peterson Hall.

On March 30, students were inducted into McDaniel College's Delta of Maryland Chapter of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. Founded in 1776, the Phi Beta Kappa Society is the nation's oldest academic honor society.

Students were inducted April 25 into the Sigma Tau Delta International English Honor Society at McDaniel College.

Jaden Silverman, a senior American Sign Language major from Manhattan, New York, tied for the $1,000 People's Choice award at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge on April 29 at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Maryland.

Works by Art majors at McDaniel College are highlighted in the second of two capstone exhibitions. The exhibition runs Tuesday, April 29-Friday, May 9, in McDaniel's Esther Prangley Rice Gallery in Peterson Hall.

Sana Askari won the $5,000 top prize for first place at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge on April 29 at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Maryland. Askari is a junior Political Science, Business Administration, and Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies major.

Five McDaniel College students competed in the McDaniel College Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge on April 29. In addition to the $5,000 top prize, $1,000 was awarded to the People's Choice winner. Plus, all finalists who successfully completed all requirements for participating in the Innovation Challenge were awarded $800.

McDaniel College students perform in the Gospel Choir Concert on Saturday, May 10, at 7 p.m. in WMC Alumni Hall's Mainstage Theatre at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Maryland. The Gospel Choir performs traditional and contemporary gospel music, under the direction of Senior Adjunct Lecturer Shelley Ensor.

Students were inducted April 18 into McDaniel College's Alpha Mu Chapter of the Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) national biological honor society. McDaniel Provost Flavius Lilly was also inducted as an honorary member.

Students were inducted April 6 into Kappa Mu Epsilon, a specialized honor society in mathematics, at McDaniel College.

Students were inducted April 16 into the Phi Alpha Theta national honor society in history at McDaniel College.

Students were inducted into the Alpha Kappa Delta international honor society of sociology at McDaniel College.

Students were inducted into the Psi Chi international honor society in psychology at McDaniel College.

McDaniel College student Nakayla Lawson was inducted into the Phi Sigma Iota international honor society for foreign languages at McDaniel College, Westminster, Maryland.

McDaniel College students perform in the College Band Concert on Friday, May 9, at 7 p.m. in WMC Alumni Hall's Mainstage Theatre at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Maryland. Under the direction of Senior Lecturer in Music Linda Kirkpatrick, the College Band comprises nearly 50 musicians, including McDaniel students, as well as McDaniel faculty members, alumni, and community musicians.

Students were inducted April 6 into the Omicron Delta Kappa national leadership honor society at McDaniel College. Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society, was installed at the college in 1963.

McDaniel College students perform with the Westminster Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, May 10. Under the direction of Linda Kirkpatrick, senior lecturer in music at McDaniel, the orchestra is composed of McDaniel College students and music faculty, Carroll Community College students and music faculty, and community musicians

Students were inducted April 10 into the Omicron Delta Epsilon international honor society for economics at McDaniel College, Westminster, Maryland.

Students won awards at the opening reception on April 3 of the Kathryn E. Wentz Juried Undergraduate Exhibition at McDaniel College, Westminster, Maryland.
