Five McDaniel College students competed in the McDaniel College Innovation and Entrepreneurship Challenge on April 29. In addition to the $5,000 top prize, $1,000 was awarded to the People's Choice winner. Plus, all finalists who successfully completed all requirements for participating in the Innovation Challenge were awarded $800.

McDaniel College students presented student-faculty research findings at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine (MARC-ACSM) Annual Meeting held Nov. 1-2, 2024, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The students' collaborative Kinesiology research projects in exercise science were conducted with mentorship from McDaniel faculty members Jennifer McKenzie, professor of Kinesiology, and Richard Laird, associate professor of Kinesiology.
