McDaniel College student Patsy Zetkulic of Arlington is one of three student directors with short plays in the Student-Directed Play Festival. Performances are Wednesday, March 4-Saturday, March 7, 7:30 p.m., in WMC Alumni Hall at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. The performances are free and open to the public.

McDaniel College Junior Directs Eve Ensler's "The Vagina Monologues" at McDaniel College

McDaniel College junior Flannery Bendel-Simso, directs Eve Ensler's iconic play "The Vagina Monologues" on Friday, Feb. 14, and Saturday, Feb. 15, 7 p.m., in WMC Alumni Hall at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. The play is in association with V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women and girls. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door. Faith Young, a junior at McDaniel College from Takoma Park, Md, has been awarded a $4,500 Gilman Scholarship to study abroad at McDaniel's European campus in Budapest, Hungary. She is one of 1,413 recipients from 427 colleges and universities across the United States selected to receive the prestigious U.S. Department of State's Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program.

Highest honors are earned for a semester grade point average of 3.90 or higher, high honors for a grade point average of 3.70-3.89, and honors for a 3.50-3.69 grade point average.
