McDaniel College students perform at Jazz Night on Thursday, December 4, 8 p.m. Free and open to the public, the performance takes place in Decker Center Forum at 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. Directed by Bo Eckard, senior lecturer in music, Jazz Night highlights the Thursday Jazz Ensemble, Monday, Jazz Ensemble and the five-piece Jazz Combo. McDaniel College students are founding members of the McDaniel College Rotaract Club, a service and leadership organization officially chartered by Rotary International. Rotaract clubs are the college equivalent of Rotary clubs. Members commit themselves to community and international service alongside professional and leadership development.

McDaniel College's Green Terror ROTC Battalion took first place among 20 teams in the small ROTC program Black Division of the mid-Atlantic region brigade and third overall among 40 teams during the two-day ROTC Ranger Challenge event at Fort Pickett, Va.
