McDaniel College's student honors art exhibition features a variety of work from six art majors. Titled "Unfolding Reality," the exhibition runs Tuesday, Feb. 21-Friday, March 10, in Esther Prangley Rice Gallery, Peterson Hall. An opening reception takes place Thursday, Feb. 23, 5:30-7:30 p.m., with a gallery talk at 6 p.m. Students exhibiting their artwork include Rowan Berti of Wilmington, Delaware, Skylar Blackbull of Crownpoint, New Mexico, Kelsey Bosley of Manchester, Maryland, Kate Cramer of Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, Grace Harshman of Hagerstown, Maryland, and Juliana Stolkovich of Littlestown, Pennsylvania.

McDaniel College students performed in the Gospel Choir Concert on Sunday, Dec. 4, at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. The choir is under the direction of music lecturer Shelley Ensor.

McDaniel College students performed with the Westminster Symphony Orchestra on Saturday, Dec. 3, at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. Under the direction of Linda Kirkpatrick, senior lecturer in music at McDaniel, the orchestra is comprised of McDaniel College and Carroll Community College students in addition to music faculty from both colleges, as well as community musicians.

McDaniel College students performed during Jazz Night on Thursday, Dec. 1. Directed by Tim Jenkins, music lecturer at McDaniel, Jazz Night featured classic big band swing, bebop, Latin, Funk, Jazz-rock, and Classic Blues.

The McDaniel College Choir presented its winter concert, "Music Matters," on Sunday, November 20, 7 p.m., in Baker Memorial Chapel at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. The choir is under the direction of Kyle Engler, with Peggy Brengle serving as accompanist. The program featured music from diverse locales and historical eras. The concert also showcased the A Cappella Ensemble, an elite group of unaccompanied singers chosen from the choir's roster.

McDaniel College students perform in the College Band Concert. The performance is Friday, Dec. 2, 7 p.m., in WMC Alumni Hall at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. It is free and open to the public.

McDaniel College students performed in the Student African Drum Ensemble on Thursday, Nov. 17. The performance took place at 7 p.m. in Baker Memorial Chapel at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. The Ensembles were under the direction of McDaniel music department faculty member Pape Demba "Paco" Samb, a "Senegalese Griot," or West African historian, storyteller, singer, poet, dancer, and musician.

McDaniel College students performed in the Student Solo Recital on Friday, November 11. The recital featured a selection of vocal and instrumental soloists performing a variety of music spanning from classical to contemporary.

McDaniel College Theatre presents "Radium Girls," D.W. Gregory's recounting of the tragedy of Marie Curie's factory workers at the college. Performances are Thursday, November 17-Saturday, November 19 at 7:30 p.m. on the WMC Alumni Hall Mainstage at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md.

Kim Parson, a junior at McDaniel College, has been recognized for her passion for lighting design and stagecraft with a 2022 Collier Robert Woods, Jr. Scholarship. Parson of Pikesville, Md., is a theatre arts major with a cinema minor.

McDaniel College students perform in "Wintertime" at the college. Performances are Thursday, September 29 through Saturday, October 1 at 7:30 p.m. on the WMC Alumni Hall Mainstage at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md.

McDaniel College students perform selections from renowned operas and Broadway musicals during Singing on Stage on Sunday, May 1, at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. The performance is free and open to the public.

Works by graduating art students at McDaniel College are highlighted in the Senior Capstone Exhibition titled "explorations of 14 emerging artists." The exhibition, which runs Thursday, April 28-Friday, May 13, features a range of media, from traditional two- and three-dimensional approaches, to digital and new media.

McDaniel College Theatre Arts presented "Out of Time," a devised theatre production, April 20 through April 23 at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md.

McDaniel College's Department of Art presents "Impressions of Individualism," the college's annual honors art exhibition, Monday, March 21-Friday, April 1, in Rice Gallery, Peterson Hall. An artists' reception will be held Thursday, March 24, 5:30-7:30 p.m., with artist talks beginning at 6 p.m. McDaniel students exhibiting their work are Kaylen Buschhorn, Laurel Conover, Ezerae Ham, Laura Midkiff, Liz Mince, and Leah Wilder.

It is free and open to the public. In addition to traditional and contemporary gospel music, the program will also feature spirituals. The choir is under the direction of Shelley Ensor, with Alice Dorsey serving as accompanist.
