Richard St. Clair Stuart of Westminster inducted into Phi Beta Kappa national honor society at McDaniel College

Richard St. Clair Stuart, a student at McDaniel College from Westminster, Md., is among 33 McDaniel seniors and three juniors inducted March 29 into the Delta of Maryland Chapter of the prestigious Phi Beta Kappa national honor society. Founded in 1776, Phi Beta Kappa is the nation's oldest academic honor society. It has chapters at 280 colleges and universities, and more than 600,000 members.

McDaniel College, recognized nationally among 40 Colleges that Change Lives and U.S. News top-tier liberal arts colleges, is a four-year private college of the liberal arts and sciences offering more than 70 undergraduate programs of study, including dual and student-designed majors, plus 25 highly regarded graduate programs.
