Michael Nims was recognized at the ROTC President's Review held at McDaniel College on April 8.

Nims of McLean, Va., received the American Legion Award and Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry Award.

Army ROTC has been a tradition at McDaniel since 1919, and the Green Terror Battalion, which includes cadets from McDaniel, Hood and Mount St. Mary's, is one of the oldest ROTC programs in the nation. McDaniel also participates in the Post-9/11 GI Bill and Yellow Ribbon Program. McDaniel has consistently been recognized among the top 15 percent of Military Friendly Schools(R) in the nation.
