Katarina B. Winhauer of Hanover Honored for Academic Achievement at McDaniel College

Katarina B. Winhauer of Hanover is among 49 students inducted into the prestigious Alpha Lambda Delta national honor society in recognition of their outstanding academic achievement of a 3.70 GPA or higher during their first year as students at McDaniel College. One of 278 chapters nationwide, the McDaniel Alpha Lambda Delta chapter has a membership of 103 students who conduct service projects on campus and in the local community while serving as role models and mentors to McDaniel students.

The mission of Alpha Lambda Delta is to encourage superior academic achievement, to promote intelligent living and a high standard of learning and to assist students in recognizing and developing meaningful goals in society.
