Senior Charles Eron of Hanover, Pa. performs in the Westminster Symphony Orchestra concert at McDaniel College, 2 College Hill, Westminster, Md. The performance, which is free and open to the public, takes place Saturday, December 8, 3 p.m., in WMC Alumni Hall.

Under the direction of Linda Kirkpatrick, senior lecturer in music, the Westminster Symphony Orchestra performs a concert titled "Winter Through the Ages."

Highlights are Corelli's "Christmas Concerto," which includes solos by McDaniel string faculty members Tim Anderson, Nicholas Currie, Lynn Fleming and Alice Tung, Mozart's "Three German Dances," "Suite No. 1" from Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker" and "Sleigh Ride" by Leroy Anderson.
